NEW! User Guidebooks Now Available
New Resources for You
We have released two User Guidebooks for our current user groups and those who are exploring the idea of using public facilities for their community events and activities.
Included in each User Guidebook is comprehensive information about our program, links to forms, contact information, and much more! Additionally, the packet includes a revised Facility Use License Agreement (FULA). The FULA is the most important document to be familiar with when using public facilities.
Effective March 1, 2023, these new and revised documents will be included when a reservation is accepted by each user making reservations.
Please, Take a Look

Montgomery Council Approves CUPF's Facility Fee Assistance Program Fund Increase to Assist Local Youth Sports
On September 15 the Montgomery County Council approved a proposal to increase CUPF's Facility Fee Assistance Program (FFAP) funding to assist organizations that offer sports programs for at risk youth. We encourage anyone who runs or is interested in running programs on the fields at Title I schools or schools with high Free And Reduced Meals rates to apply for the assistance online. FFAP funding is available to nonprofit’s and informal community groups but may not be distributed to for profit organizations at this time. The application is available HERE and other information on the FFAP can be found on our webpage HERE. The news release from the County Council announcing the approval has more information on the assistance effort.
With ICB's Approval, CUPF Management Changes Payment Policy for Processing Permit Requests
As you know, when booking rooms in schools and Montgomery County government buildings, you have been able to request a permit without making payment at the time of your request, and payment then becomes due when the permit is approved, typically within a day or two. That policy will be changing on May 1, 2020, and you will be required to pay for your permit at the time you make your request, unless you are a High Volume Priority User.
Please note: you are only considered a High Volume Priority User if you have previously applied for, and been granted, high volume status, which is available to sports leagues, sports clubs, child care, weekly weekend cultural and faith-based groups, and summer camps.
We are making this change in order to align our practices with those of our partners at the Department of Recreation and the Parks Department, which both require customers to pay for their reservations up front. We also hope that this change will ease the burden on our staff to collect overdue account balances, which will ultimately allow more time for customer service. This policy change is being enacted under the authority of the Interagency Coordinating Board (ICB).
Because this new policy is a change to the way we have been operating, we will spend the next several months making a concerted effort to reach out to all who may be affected.
Thank you for your understanding and for giving us your business by using our government facilities.
